Why to buy a solar home kit?

A Solar Home System gives the customer:

-         More independence on the main grid
-         having a continued power supply on key appliance at home or in the office
-         cost savings on monthly energy
-         contribution to the environmental issues

SolSquare’s Solar Home System is:

-         professionally designed for standard requirements like lightning, fans, refrigeration, entertainment and office equipment
-         components are characterized by
o       very high reliability - essential in remote areas
o       minimum maintenance thanks to high quality components
o       maximum life time even under extreme conditions
o       flexibility to provide future-proof and sustainable technology
-         simple to install and easy to operate

In remote areas – where electricity is unavailable, unreliable or expensive – a solar home systems has the following advantages compared with a generator

-         24h hour energy supply thanks to the battery
-         in case of need not necessary to switch on/off
-         no need for periodical gasoline purchase and therefore no gasoline costs
-         no noise pollution or emissions
-         nearly no abrasion

Profitability of the SHK increases if one takes into account that the Gasoline costs will continue to increase in next decades.

Flexible design for different customer needs:

Thanks to the modular architecture of our solar home kits, we can customize them for different demands but with the same high standard pf quality and efficiency.
The system seize ranges from 50 Wp (to drive some small applications like lights, radio and cell phone charger)  up to 6000 Wp, which can serve as an fully independent power supply for 4 households including washing machine, fridge, TV, lights and others typical devices).

The PV system

Converts the solar irradiation into DC power
Ensures that the PV modules are at an optimum angle, increases the energy ouput up to 30%.
Stores the energy for periods of low irradiation
Converts DC to AC load, charges the battery at an optimum for efficiency and longer lifetime. Switches the generator automatically on, when loads are peaking.
Monitores the system, to ensure proper maintenace.

System Accessories

Battery
Function: Storage of Power

The Battery is used to store the power generated by the PV Module in the form of DC. To gain the maxium benefit from the PV Module (also during night time), a proper storage solution has to be choosen.Only batteries with high cycle capacity, deep discharge capability and low maintenace meet the demands of a solar home system.

Charge Controller
Function: Control of Power

The Charge Controller is a very important link between the PV Module, battery and loads. It ensures that the battery is always charged in an otimum and reliable manner. It also helps indicate the charge status of the battery.

Inverter
Function: Conversion for Consumption

The Inverter converts the DC from the PV Module or the Battery into 230 V alternating current (AC). AC is required to operate common applications like TV, fan, notebook etc. For high system efficieny the Inverter should have low stand by loses, low power consumption and high conversion efficiency.

PV Module
Function: Generating Power

The Solar Cell is the basis unit of a Photovoltaic (PV) Power System. It converts sunlight into direct current (DC). PV Modules are rated in Peak Watts (Wp).
